Chinese human rights activist Feng Zhenghu at Tokyo's Narita International Airport.

epa01964958 Wearing a T-shirt describing the ordeal he is facing, Chinese human rights activist Feng Zhenghu stands with a sign that reads 'Stuck here for 41 days is a Chinese citizen who exposed corruption. Helped the poor and has been denied entry into China 8 times by the Chinese authorities' at the end of the concourse as airlines crews walk past him at the Terminal 1 of the Narita International Airport in Chiba prefecture, near Tokyo, Japan, 14 December 2009, on the 41st day of his life in the airport. Described by Amnesty International as a prominent human rights defender and a victim of enforced disappearance, 55-year-old Feng has been living in the Terminal 1 of the Narita International Airport since 04 November 2009, after having being denied entry into China four times by immigration authorities in Shanghai, because of his prior work as a human rights activist in China, as Feng suspects. Other four times he was refused by airlines to board the plane. Reminiscent of a character played by Tom Hanks in the Hollywood film 'The Terminal', Feng is stuck between the arrivals gates and passport control where he has to depend on handouts from passengers and airlines crews for his survival. With his mobile phone and a laptop computer, Feng has been blogging and tweeting to deliver his voice to the outside world. Airport officials have offered him entry into Japan as he has a valid Japanese visa in his Chinese passport, but Feng says he is ready to continue his crusade until the day the Chinese government allows him to go home in Shanghai.
