Gamevil to change name to Com2uS Holdings next month

Kosdaq-listed mobile game developer and publisher Gamevil is shedding its corporate name of 21 years to Com2uS Holdings to enhance holding role and boost synergy with other affiliates at a time of its aggressive global push. The name change will become official upon pproval at a shareholders’ meeting next month. Gamevil has been active player in the global game scene with own games and game service platform. It is also the second-largest shareholder of virtual asset exchange Coinone in Korea and is eyeing on new business opportunities based on blockchain technology. Its shares surged 18.43% to 68,100 won ($57.47) in morning trade on Monday.
