K bank subscribers more than triple thanks to partnership with crypto exchange Upbit

South Korea’s app-based lender K bank added more than tripled customers this year, or 4.8 million new users in just 11 months, benefiting from bank account partnership with the country’s largest crypto exchange Upbit. With a total of 7 million users, K bank’s loan balance doubled on year to reach 6.8 trillion won ($5.8 billion) as of end-November with savings balance tripling to 11.8 trillion won. With improved user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) designs, it has attracted new members in their 50s and as well as under 20 years old.
